Monday - Friday, with Saturday rotationWe have an exciting opportunity for an LPN to join our General Pediatrics outpatient practice!Under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator, the LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in the following clinical functions to all providers.
The Bernard & Millie Duker Childrens Hospital at Albany Medical Center is the only state-of-the-art facility that provides comprehensive care for children in northeastern New York and western New England.
Our Albany Medical Center team of more than 140 physicians has extensive training and experience in 40 subspecialties of pediatric medicine and attends to all of your children's healthcare needs.
Our physicians serve as faculty members at Albany Medical College, which gives patients and their families' access to some of the most innovative treatments available today.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Obtains and accurately record patient's vital signsDocuments components of patient's historyCommunicates in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staffParticipates in in-office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare providerPerforms diagnostic CLIA waived testingPerforms venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testingPrescription call-backs per scope of practicePreps patient's chart for pertinent clinical informationMaintains inventory of supplies, and keeps patient examination rooms stockedAdheres to AMC's regulatory compliance issuesMinimum
Qualifications:
